Hall of Fame Head Coach & Player 



Experience:
After a stellar career as a player, Ed decided to retire after the 1988 season and join the Oilers coaching staff.  Two games into the 1989 season he abruptly unretired, became a player-coach, and behind his bone-crushing blocking he helped lead the Oilers to the 1990 EFL Championship.

* Offensive Tackle: 1979-1994

Coach:
* Randolph Oilers: Assistant Coach from  1994-1997 (plus several years as a player-coach)  
* Randolph Oilers:  Head Coach from 1998- present. 


Awards/Recognition:
*  Perenial EFL All Star
*  Elected to the AFA Hall of Fame
*  Elected to the USFA Hall of Fame
*  Helped lead the Oilers to the EFL Championship in 1990
*  One of only a handful of Oiler players in the team's 35+ year history with his number retired.
*  EFL Coach of the Year in 2007 & 2008. Co-coach of the Year in __.
*  In 1994 was awarded the Fran Duggan Sportsmanship Award.
