Oilers Snatch Defeat from the Jaws of Victory

Write-up coming soon, but for now it is too painful to even think about. For those who must know, the quick summary is that the Oilers battled back from early deficits to tie the game with 7 minutes to play. With 50 seconds to play Oiler Safety Johnny Epps picked off a Braintree pass and returned it 70 yards before finally being tackled on the 9 yard line. The Oilers attempted the winning field goal from the 7 with less than 30 seconds to play, but the kick was blocked and returned 93 yards for a touchdown and stunning 26-20 loss.

One of the great things about the Oilers organization is that Randolph leaves everything they have on the field, they play their hearts out each and every game. The Oilers are a tight family, and win or lose the Oilers find a way to have a good time post game- no matter how painful a loss might have been.

Despite the loss to Braintree, the Oilers as always found a reason to have a good time post-game at the V. And on this night they were treated to one of the greatest musical performances the town of Randolph has ever witnessed (please note: the performer does NOT have any formal association with the Randolph Oilers):
